Where Did the Universe Come From?

Where did the universe come from? Well, that is a question that almost everyone asks at some point in their life. I asked this question many moons ago and in my quest for an answer, I first turned towards religion. In my religious quest, I studied the Bible and turned towards some Christian friends to help me answer my many questions. Years went by and to my great disappointment, I found no answers that made logical sense to me. Then one day, I discovered the great power of the internet!

The internet is a very powerful tool. However, one must use it cautiously as it is sometimes difficult to sift through the good and the bad. When researching something as fundamental as where the universe came from, it is just that much more difficult to sift through the good and the bad. I started my research keeping an open mind and performed internet searches encompassing many views, such as creationism, the big bang theory, brane theory, etc. After spending years researching the many different views and the details behind them, I came to the conclusion that the most logical way that the universe was created was that it wasn't! By this, I mean that the universe had no beginning and it will have no end.

I like to describe the universe as eternal, infinite, perpetual, ever-changing, and self-controlled. It is for all intents and purposes, one interconnected unit. I like to refer to this one unit as waves in a wave medium. Just as Einstein's E=MC2, energy is the same thing as mass times the speed of light squared. Mass or objects are simply just energy manifestations. I even feel that constants are not constant. They seem to be constant, but they are relative to everything else in the vicinity. I will save this for another discussion at a different time as this would be a long discussion in and of itself.

These waves in a wave medium, may also be also be expressed as the aether. As expressed in Wikipedia, "In the late 19th century, "luminiferous aether" (or "ether"), meaning light-bearing aether, was the term used to describe a medium for the propagation of light." The aether theory was abandoned by mainstream science decades ago, but I feel that many of the concepts contained within it are closer to the true nature of the universe than the big bang theory. In fact, I do not feel that photons even exist at least as discrete particles. Again though, I will save this discussion for another time.

In concluding this post, I would like to refer the reader to a few really good websites that contain views very similar to mine. The first one is http://www.spaceandmotion.com/ in which the author, Geoff Haselhurst, has described a theory called the Wave Structure of Matter in Space (WSM). It took me quite some time to stumble upon his website, but once I did, I was amazed at how closely his views were in alignment with mine. He works closely with Milo Wolff, whom also has a good website entitled, http://www.quantummatter.com/. Finally, the last website, entitled http://www.pantheism.net/ is a good website in introducing Pantheism to the reader. If I were to choose a religion to follow, Pantheism most closely relates to my views on things. Please check it out and I think you will agree if you are a logical thinking person and realist as I am. Keep in mind that I am not endorsing these websites and do not agree on each and every issue, but all in all, they contain a wealth of information and are worth perusing.

Until next time,
